Everyone of us is given a chance to prove ourselves. We can both dream and work for that dream. We can make things in our own accord. We can live the way we wish it to be. It would always depend on the person itself. We have time ahead of us but it also has its and its up to us how to manage it wisely, whether to make it fruitful or not. When we die, the deeds we had done good or bad are the things that will be remembered by the everyone who knows us. Definitely, we will be forgotten but as long as we are in anybody's heart and mind then we are still alive.
Dr. Jose P. Rizal is an immortal hero. You may ask why and you may also disagree. We defined immortality as having an eternal life and being capable to live forever then its somehow different this time. He is physically dead but the fact that we have all his ideas, thoughts and experiences as part already of the undying society that we have, we can't say that he is already forgotten. People die but the society don't. Our hero had already been part of it that is why getting rid of his influences will not be that easy.
Rizal is no different from us. He was still a human, no matter how intelligent and gifted he was. Everyone of us could possibly be like Rizal in our little ways. We could also be immortal one way or another. Rizal shows love for his country and he really had the courage to face the possible outcomes of his decisions. He never showed regret and fear, he lived through his principles no matter how dangerous it is. He died having the heart of a true responsible hero.
